I've got a 900 square foot concrete shed fllor that is prone to flooding. I was thinking of raising the floor by a foot. Do I need to break the existing floor first. What sort of cost am I looking at?

No, just stone on top of it, whack and concrete. Price will depend on a few things, depth of floor, what finishes, convert measurements to metric to get cubes of concrete, chalk line along the wall and bobs your uncle
If you can drain the water away, would be hell of a lot cheaper.

If 3'' deep concrete would take 6.5 cu m concrete. 4'' deep 8.7 cu m.

Probably around €90 per cu m
