    I helped my uncle clean out his car, a Hyundai i20. He only has of a couple of weeks.

    What is this thing under the drivers seat? Both of us are bamboozled.

    +1 we had a 1969 VW Beetle and I recall a similar duct under the front seats. OP mustn't be familiar with rear seat passengers demanding warm air at their feet in the winter.
