What with all this green noise I started looking at some options like solar, thermodynamic panel, photovoltaic panels, A2W etc.
Currently in a 07 built 2 storey 4 bed house, well insulated attic and walls with oil and solid boiler stove with approx 21 regular rads

Had anyone installed A2W into a similar house and worked correctly. Few places I rang says a2w won't work out they couldn't say how well it could work since they needed underfloor

Don't want to blow a wad of cash on a system for it not to work but all seai etc seen to be pushing is a2w, but what for average Joe in average Joe's house?

Probably easiest to just increase attic insulation further, spray fowl between rafters if they aren’t already insulated etc. best off sticking with what you have if it’s that recent !

The greenest kwh of energy is the one you don't use/need.

The best use of some of your wad would be to have a proper heat loss survey done on the house. Then you will know exactly where to invest the rest of the wad.

Reduce your energy demand first then maybe consider eco bling (solar panels etc)
