VRT question

    When I go to the VRT centre will the give me the cost of the VRT on the day or will I have to wait a few days to get the price?

    Will they take debit card for the full amount of say roughly €3100

    If their is a Stat code for the car in their system then they will give you a price based on that there and then. If there is no Stat code on their system then they have to seek a quote from Revenue which can take up to 10 working days.

    Just remember that your bank may actually limit the daily amount on your debit card so check with them in advance.
