    Hi,

Why when I top up by 20 euro on the ready to go meter does it only input 15 euro? This has happened every time since the meter has gone in.

    Regards,
    Brian

    Hi Brian,

Thank you for getting in touch.

When a Pay As You Go meter is installed, the balance at the time of the installation is applied to the meter. This balance is deducted at 25% of the top-ups until clear. This could be a deduction of the original balance. We have limited access to the Pay As You Go system in this department. We recommend calling them on 1850 372 372 to check if there is a balance.

The only other reason there would be a deduction from your top-up if you activated your Emergency Credit or went into a negative credit balance during Credit Friendly hours.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Kind regards,
    Aoife
