Jury Duty

I’ve been summons to jury duty in a few weeks time.

I’m a shift worker and my shifts are generally wed, thurs, fri, sat &sun.

Basically my question is would I be entitled to lieu days for the Monday & Tuesday(my off days) of each week I’m on duty.

Otherwise I’d potentially be doing 7 day weeks for as long as the trial would last. Obviously I could get a short case or none at all, just curious as to where I stand.

Is it just tough luck or is there provisions for this?

    TIA

I’m sure that when you put your case forward at the selection point you will
    Be excused.
