Ochsner O Tronic Classic - advice needed?

    Evening all,

I’ve recently bought a house that has a Ochsner O Tronic Heat Pump for heating. I’m having quite a bit of difficulty at the minute understanding how best to use it but also I’m quite concerned at the energy consumption of the heat pump. I estimate that it’s consuming power at 4kW when it’s running.

    Is that normal consumption?

Any advice on how best to use this system?

    What size is the house?
    floor are being heated/HW consumption

have u a night rate meter?
    Have u a buffer tank?

Lets assume the HP has COP of 4 or even 5
That means that the heat output at 4kW in is about 16 or 20 kW.

My gas fired house boiler is 28 kW
    so we need more detail
