Recommend running shorts - like these, but with zipped pocket

My 3 x old reliable Pro Touch shorts have worn out after the DCM'19 training campaign.
I bought them in Elverys a few years ago, but they no linger carry this style.


Basically they are light, lycra type shorts, with a drawstring and zipped pocket at the back.
Very handy for securely storing a car key, wrapped electrolyte tabs, credit card etc.



I bought a pair of these to replace them:

Ronhill Men's Men's Everyday Run Short Men's Everyday Run Short.
They are fine, except, the pocket is just a piece of fabric under the waistband near the hips. Doesn't seem secure or comfortable.


Can anyone recommend a pair with a zip that's not too bulky.
Must be the same light lycra tight-type.

Decathlon do a "Kiprun" brand light compression shorts that have a zip pocket in the back and a small waistband pocket. Nice & light and very comfy.

I got a pair of the Strider Pro shorts from Patagonia. Bit expensive but very comfortable to run in.

I took a look at Patagonia Strider Pro - but they don't appear to be the tights type of short - maybe I'm missing something?

Must be the tight type for me I'm afraid. The material in normal shorts rides up into an inverted V when I run otherwise :-(

Do you mean one's with compression shorts in them. Then no they don't but I have found they fit me (and keep everything from swinging around) better than most of my other shorts.
They don't ride up on me at all.
