1. Is there still a Boil Water Notice in place For the Greater Dublin Area?

This Boil Water Notice has now been lifted. The water supply is compliant with drinking water regulations and normal use of the supply can resume for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.

You can find more information about this on our website here.

2. I want to move the manhole on my property, which the county council says is private property. What do I do?

If you wish to move the private wastewater pipe and manhole cover to facilitate this extension, you can get in contact with our New Connections Team by submitting a Pre-connection Enquiry form with any questions you may have on our website here.

3. How do I report a leak in my Area?

If you spot a leak, you can report it here by sending specific location details and a member of our team will help.

You can also do this via our website here or by calling 1850 278 278, our phone lines are open 24/7.

4. I’m still waiting on my connection to be completed. What can I do?

If you have applied, and paid in full, for your new connection offer and are wondering when the works will take place, please confirm the following and we can follow up:

- Your name;
- Full address;
- Application Reference number; and

5. How to turn off the water at the mains?

You can temporarily turn off your supply at the outside stop valve, which is located in the boundary box next to your water meter when safe to do so.

If you do not have a water meter attached to your property, the outside stop valve should be located just outside your property by the driveway.

Further details on how to turn off your water at the boundary box is available on water.ie.
