Boiler water pressure dropping

Have a sime boiler that for past week i had had to constantly refill by opening the valve on the filling loop to get above 2 bars before heating will come on. Would this be a setting on the boiler itself or something erong with the boiler not retaining pressure?

Maybe a problem with expansion tank.
