    i see these on ebay, they stay clear and dont darken i believe but are they safe to use

    Glass that do not darken may block certain wavelengths of light (ie: UV safe glasses) , but welding general intense light across the visible spectrum.

    In short, you need a normal helmet or auto darkening model to protect your eyes. Some models don't darken the full window and may give you better peripheral vision.

    I use a gas and oxegen torch too so wouldnt be good idea to use these even with that either

    ok wont be using them, is even the welding helmets safe, like most are made in china so just how safe are they
