The amount of people upset about how much he gets paid. He is not personally at fault for what ever his employer decides to pay him.

495,000 a year. How much is taxed, what is left. He's hardly rolling in it.

Probably less than a lot of people pay.

Unless he has really messed it up.

Ehh the reason people get upset about what he is paid is ultimately it is coming out of their pockets whether they like it or not.

RTE are forever bleating about tv licenses, the government and some other bright sparks believe we should all pay whether we watch or listen to him or any of his colleagues.

And he is shyte as well which doesn't help at all.

I am not allowed discuss …

I agree. He is overpaid. How is that Tubridys fault? Rte could decide to pay him less but they don't.

I dislike Ryan Tubridy as an individual. His wages are irrelevant.

Meghan Markle. I don't understand why the UK tabloids write so much about her and criticise everything she does, especially when Prince Andrew is known to have been hanging around with a paedophile and possibly sleeping with underage girls

You're wrong, people don't have an issue with his wages. They have an issue with the money wasted on RTE via our fees.
It's a ridiculous waste of money, thats the issue.
It could be Mary Poppins on that stupid salary, its simply impossible to justify it. Nothing personal.

If he is playing proper he wold be getting 20,843 into his permanent tsb account every month. Not a bad auld wage tbh bout 12 times what I was making a few years ago.

I don't understand why she just can't ignore what the papers write i.e by not reading them and get on with her life.

She's been handed a cushy number to live in the lap of luxury for the rest of her life and both him and her have done nothing but complain about it while at the same time pontificating to the rest of the world about stuff.

Sorry Ryan but you’re overpaid and not very good at your job.

For someone who said they didn't like attention and publicity (and suing the papers), she seems to thrive on it.

They don't pay Tubridy a wage, they pay Ryan Tubridy LLC or whatever his company is called a negotiated contract rate. That money is paid in a gross capacity and with the help of a good accountant a whole litany of business "expenses" can be written off to reduce the annual tax bill, leverage every credit available etc.

If that what's he is getting then good on him.
We're all out to get the biggest piece of the pie for ourselves. If RTE is willing to give him that then good.
