In the process of trying to buy a very cheap run a round as the biking in the winter is not fun.

3 cars in a row with incorrect mileage on the ad.
The first one said 65000kms but was in miles when I got there......not the end of the world. Still a good car. The second said 71000 miles in the ad, 210000kms when I got there!!! Waste of time.
The last one I caught before I went to see it, 28286kms on the ad, 260000kms when I queried it!!!

Just tell the truth in the first place ffs!!

    Pîss me off

I once went to see a car that was "mint".
    The lacquer was peeling off....

Sold by an English guy in Connemara so it's not just Irish trying their luck.

It's one thing to say tyres are nearly new when they are not, it's another thing to lie about 150000 miles!!!

Are we suggesting there is dishonesty in the car trade?

Some vendors are just careless dopes. I mean not even washing or vacuuming.

Welcome to the real world, as I said people lie.

Take anything a seller says with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. On the flip side, buyers tell sellers they will meet up for a viewing and don't bother their hole turning up too.
