My left rear light is not working so I changed the bulb but still no joy. Brake, reverse and indicator lights all working fine. Bad luck with the bulb or might there be something wrong?

Inspect the bulb socket for rust
Do you have a voltmeter to be able to check power around the socket?

Does the left front work? If it does that would indicate that the fise is ok

Most cars have one fuse for each side.

The reason I ask is that my last car powered the front left and rear right from the same ECU output pin.
