Hi I bought a Peugeot 5008 a few months ago. It has 130,000km on the clock and no record of having the Timing Belt changed. Does anyone know when it should be changed and where's the best place in Donegal to get it done?

Year? Engine? No one's going to be able to help you with such key information missing...

Donegal is a big place, google local mechanics to get quotes.

Do you have the owner's manual? The interval should be noted in there.

Found this on a Peugeot forum, and general results online seem to agree more or less with these figures for 5008 also

"in my service manual (3008 from 2012) it is stated that for 1.6hdi engine with FAP you need to change the belts at 10 years or 170000 kms in hard driving conditions and 10 years or 240000kms in normal driving conditions."

This link says 6 years to 10 years, OR 160k kms to 240k kms

This one here says all HDi engines 180k kms or 9 years
