we are in dire need of a plumber - the kitchen sink tattoo is broken and it's leaking under it in the cupboard, and it's already starting to smell bad even after efforts to catch as much of the water as possible.

i contacted 4 different companies from around for that. 2 of them did not reply at all, 2 replied and wanted more information about the job but i haven't heard back from them in 2 weeks, even after contacting them multiple times since.

is there any company/person in the area that even wants to work and earn money? we need the whole sink replaced essentially. any recommendations on who to contact? someone who would come this week or next week?

Saw the thread and was going to recommend this crowd too.

Replaced a boiler for me last year, great service.

If it's a small job you might struggle to get someone else good

Another +1 for Plumbtech. They installed a new boiler for us a few years ago. Professional service. Not more you can ask for than that.

Look up handymen on done deal, for small plumbing jobs like that their probably better than a plumber cos they'll replace the rotten wood under the sink too.
More than likely work out cheaper too. We had a fella recently who charged €180 for the day. He did 3 sets of taps, built 2 wooden gates, fixed a few panels of our fence and hung a blind that had pulled the screws from the window.
He ended up charging €150 as he didn't spend a full day here.
He works towards west cork and had a 2 week wait due to being busy so not much point in passing him details.

If the smell is getting bad yours needs to be done quickly. The wood will have started to rot and will need to be cut out. The longer it goes on, the more wood will need replacing. Not too many plumbers will want to do that.
