Doing a renovation at the moment and before demolishing the kitchen I turned off the mains and closed stopcocks till it was finished. Turned mains and stopcocks back on but for some reason cold water is not getting to the bathroom taps or toilets upstairs, dry as a bone. Hot water from understairs cylinder is fine and is reaching the showers and taps upstairs. Pump is working fine, had it on for an hour and it just keeps going and going but still no cold water coming out upstairs. Nothing coming out of the overflow pipe under the eaves so thats checked too. What could it be, an airlock or something? Cold water tank is in the attic. What should I check for to try get it going again?
