    Can someone helre help me?

One detached cottage with mains water already laid on. A mains sewerage pipe came into the village recently and runs close (10m) to the front of the properly.

Currently using a septic tank but now looking to hook up.

So: does bord na uisce insist on doing the groundwork or can I bring in my own contractor? What - realistically- am I looking at in over all costs?

This question has probably been asked dozens of times on here but I'm guessing that one answer doesn't fit all.
