Hi, im looking to cut a 3m length of mdf kickboard but it has metal on one side, now this metal is less than 1mm thick, would a standard skillsaw wood blade cut this or would i need a special type of blade.

tct blades cut aluminium very easily with no impact on edge . they will cut steel but takes the edge off fast

Depending on the accuracy needed I might use a metal cutting jigsaw blade.

If the mdf side is the side on show then you could cut the metal side first with an angle grinder (no one will see it) making a slightly wider cut than needed then cut from the other side with a normal wood working saw.
