    Nicer than a Berlingo
Get the higher bhp engine, the 75PS is quite slow
    3rd seat is quite small.

The van itself only weighs around the same as a small family car, and it’s the same engine as a Fiesta, so you’d really want something a bit bigger if you need to tow more.

Have a 162 reg 120ps 1.5 lwb since new and have put 180k klms hard driven miles (company van) on it without issue, nicest van I've every driven by a long shoot, getting constant 45mpg and I've a lead foot, As for weight it comes in at just over 2 tons so no light weight, anybody that's travels in it can't believe how smooth it drives for a van. I spend most of my working life in it and wouldn't swap it for anything else.

True I suppose. I’m just used to the older 2 and 1.8 turbo engines in the older connects and mondeos . I don’t pull often but would like a small van to pull a 700 kg trailer with 1.5 ton in it .

Old model transit connect had a way smaller towing capacity (on paper)

Oh ? Well if it actually towed as well as them I’d be a happy man . Il just have to get one short term for find out for myself . Other then that there a lovely van and seem to be reliable !

The 1.5 doesn’t have the real low down torque to tow from a standstill like the old 1.8 would have. You’ll just end up riding the clutch so it doesn’t stall.

I have a 181 120bhp Limited spec in Automatic that I imported from NI.

Genuinely I love it. Decent poke on it, won't light the world on fire but does the job.

I get about 850km out of a tank.
