Hi guys a little help please. Ive recently purchased the above car with 180k on it. Original Irish car with plenty of service history. Ive noticed that whenever i sit into drivers seat the front half of the headrest pops forward. Im aware of the active head restraint system but should it be behaving like this? Could it be just wear and tear on the seat with that mileage? Any info appreciated. I have posted on the Toyota forums but ive had no replies. Thanks guys

    Post up a pic...

I've seen in some models you can manually adjust or electronic where it gets closer to one's head for the obvious safety reasons and benefits if in a collision especially from the rear.

Its an active head restraint system thats in this particular car. Your lower back pushes against a special pad built into the lower part of the driver/passenger seat back causing the head restraint to push forward. My query is i suppose should it be this sensitive? Im thinking maybe the cushion is just worn that sits over this pad causing it to activate if that makes sense. A picture wont show a whole lot
