Incorrect No Claims Bonus certificate?

    Hi all,

    I got insurance with AXA 2 years ago, I had 1 years NCB going to them and built up 2 years NCB whilst with them.

    I didn't renew the policy with them and I received the NCB certificate from them today and it only shows 2 years NCB when it should show 3 as I went to them with one year NCB in my own name.

    Has anyone else had to deal with this and if so how did you resolve it?

    I did have this with a broker. It was easily fixed.

    What way is it worded. Does it say 2 years with this policy or in total

    It says 'Actual number of years without a claim on this policy 2 years'

    There is no mention of the one year NCB I brought to them initially.

    Would you mind telling me how you got it sorted, thanks.

    There should be two details - the overall ncb which is three years and correctly the actual years on this policy as two.

    Check it again. My last one said 8 years NCB but 3 actual years on this policy

    I tried to ring but that didn't work so I put a formal complaint in writing to them, submitted via email.

    I would try ringing in the first instance.

    As per what's written on yours, technically its correct as you have 2 years with them but it should reflect your accurate total elsewhere on the paperwork
