My parcel of €31 from China got stopped by customs.
Fair enough,€7 vat to be paid.
But on top of that is €10 AnPost admin fee!
A shear 50% of the total cost.

The item has been sitting idle for over 10days now.

Customs said it would be delivered 3 days ago, while AnPost says its nothing to do with them.

This is an absolute joke that Anpost gets away with this. You pay for premium delivery just to reach Ireland in 7 days from China, but then you wait 10days for it to sit in Ireland.

I mean who regulates this extortionate anpost fees and incompetence??
Where could I complain about this?

    Thanks

It's a standard fee because the amount of admin work is the same whether it's €7 or €700 .

Until Custom release it to them An Post can do nothing so at least 7 of those days are nothing to do with them .

Any delay after that yes is a An Post issue .

An Post is regulated by Comreg but they would have agreed to the fees but the 3 days delay after Custom release it would be a Comreg issue .
