    Had a look and could not find any threads so I thought I would start this.



    ^^ You have to be careful when you cant see the road ahead espcially on a bike, If i was going fast around that round about and not straight on I would have been creamed.

    That’s the Shannonpark roundabout yeah? I know the Kinsale Road roundabout is the real magic roundabout but is this becoming another one?

    There was a vid thread on here but it died pretty quickly. I'd like to to see an active bike vid thread but i don't want to be the only contributor either.

    Jaysus good thing you weren't taking the next exit. A car could probably dodge that encounter but a biker mid turn (lean) would struggle to avoid an incident.

    It is the shannon park round about and while I know it is not the 'true' magic round about it sure felt like it at the time! :p The car was traveling the wrong way but I think they slowed down to a crawl when they realised what they did wrong.

    Afterwards I was thinking because there was a ferry down the road that perhaps it was tourists? It did look like an irish license though.

    Possibly an elderly person driving the vehicle, this happens wholesale on the Dunkettle Roundabout and on occasion has sadly led to fatal accidents on the N25.
