As per the title, is the Eye and Ear hospital just walk-in, or do you need a referral?

Also is there a charge for an ear check-up?

No referral and the €100 levy applies.

Right, so in fact probably cheaper to pay €50 to the doctor to get ear checked

    It's
    - walk in with a €100 fee
    OR
    - walk in with no fee if you have a referral from a doc

    right?

More of a blockage at the moment... mild pain, probably just trapped water, but I have an appointment with a doc coming up.
