Can you get to the engine site from server 1 (wget or whatever)? I'm assuming that sever 1 normally has a public IP and not the one posted in your example.

If server 1 has forwarding enabled then you'll need to add a route to https://engine... on your own machine. It looks like an attempt to set up a VPN but without the DHCP/DNS servcices etc...
