This would almost be an impressive level of ingenuity if it wasn't so creepy. It's like the plot of a low budget Netflix horror film.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/stalking-suspect-allegedly-studied-pop-idol-s-pupil-images-online-n1064916
TOKYO — A man was arrested on suspicion of stalking a female pop idol by studying reflections of her pupils in photos she shared on social media and using Google Street View to find where she lived, police said Friday.

This bit sounds like the plot of something you'd see on SyFy.
It suggested people shouldn't make the V-sign with their fingers, which Japanese often do in photos, because fingerprints could be stolen.

Got to give them credit in fairness, that took some work.

10/10 for ingenuity and effort. 0/10 for intent. Seriously, that's some level of dedication to figure out where she lived!

Google Maps AI will cotton on to this now soon as well.

You'll be able to drop the little yellow man into Twink's bedroom and spin around 360.

Jurassic park had this spot on
Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.

I wonder do influencers not worry that they might have stalkers. They post a lot of "check ins" and selfies on Instagram, so could have someone stalking them in real life.

Fingerprints are useless as biometics thanks to megapixel cameras and selfies.

I think there was an episode of the Kardashians about that. Kim and one of the Notkims felt that the other Notkim was giving away way too much info on social media but she wasn't listening to their warnings so they kind of faked a stalking, sent her flowers with weird messages to be delivered to her where her followers would know where she was.

The only reason I know about that is because I read about it in an article about how Kim some months later got robbed blind in Paris by people who seem to have known her whereabouts from her or her husband's Instagram :D
