Repairing scratch, recommend anything I can buy in a B&M?

    Going to head over to Blanchardstown centre later, recommend anything to remove a scratch from a white car? I was thinking perhaps something might be available in Halfords.

    There seem to be several different brands available but curious to see what others recommend.

    Scratch isn't terribly deep, but does catch on my fingernail. Tried the toothpaste approach but it didn't remove it.

    Toothpaste is abrasive, it will cause more damage to the paint than it will ever fix.

    Is the metal exposes or is it just the top coat?

    It's hard to tell as the scratch is very thin but is dark grey (car paint is white).

    I gave it a quick whirl. The instructions say just apply it and rub in for a few seconds and then wipe off, but it didn't remove it, so I'm assuming I need to try rubbing it in for a few minutes.

    Just to update... I spent an hour with the T-Cut Colour Fast Scratch Remover over the weekend and...

    ... every damned mark/scratch on the car is gone! It's unbelievable.

    You have to work it in using a fibre cloth and your index finger for several minutes, and then buff it up after.
