Hi I have an urgent question....

Today my back passenger window was smashed in a break in. None of the insurance supplied companies can replece it until tomorrow.

Question is, is the policy still valid? Ie; am I insured against theft over night with a window missing? I can find any I fo in the policy.

    Please help

whats the urgency? do you feel there is an active risk of theft? ie if the answer is no how does it change things?

I would imagine you are covered but only your policy / insurance company can know for sure.

Your policy will state that you must take all reasonable precautions to prevent a loss. If you do this, you are fine

Thank you both for your replies.

The urgency was not with regard to risk of theft it was more to calm my wife's nerves. She was very upset as we are away from home and are unable to get the window replaced until Tuesday. We were worried that as one of the windows was missing the car was effectively open in a sense.

    Thanks again
