Removing thick dust from car

Have had a car stored without a cover in an underground car park and there's a thick coating of what seems like concrete dust on it. What would be the best way in removing this without damaging the paintwork?

I'd be thinking of rinse with plenty water, foam with a thick foam & rinse. Then repeat the foaming. The goal would be to get rid of as much dust as possible before touching the paint with a wash mitt.

If a wash mitt is needed, use a shampoo with plenty of foam and wash out the mitt repeatedly.

No doubt someone will be along shortly with a more definitive answer

    Absolutely this!

Dont think about touching the car with a wash mitt before getting as much of it off using snow foam and a pressure washer.

Will a pressure washer not drive the concrete into the paintwork?

Either turn down the pressure washer or move it back from the paint. For the initial rinse, I'd just use a hose. For the foam removal, I normally have it back about half a meter.
