    Hi guys

Apologies if this has been discussed. I have a quick question. I'm currently driving a 2 liter 151 diesel scirocco with 18" vw alloys. I'm looking at changing to a 171 diesel scirocco that has 19" vw alloys (diff type than my current ones). I can't road test it as I'll be bringing in from the UK. Is there a big diff in that 1 inch? I'm driving 90% of the time in the city with a few long motorway runs. Generally the roads aren't bad in Cork. I've managed fine on the 18"s without any issue. Any advice would be appreciated

You might notice a little extra road noise on rougher surfaces but for the most part the car will drive the exact same on 18’s as on 19’s

Just to note also - new tyres prices might be slightly elevated for the bigger rim.
