New OECD Corporation Tax rules

    Surprised the Irish media hasn't covered much about this yet.

    Basically the OECD has published proposals to tax large companies where they are operating rather than their physical headquarters. This was mentioned a while ago but I wasn't expecting it to move this fast. Any idea when they might be implemented? Are we talking 1 year or 5 years away?

    "The winners would be large countries including the US, China, UK, Germany, France, Italy and developing economies."

    "The losers will be big companies and counties like Ireland".
