Octo lnb cabling

Going to upgrade by rusty dish and lnb soon going from quad to octo while I am at it, will probably end up with 6 or 7 cables being used. Is there any tidy way of doing this, current 4 cables looks congested enough, adding to this might look a little bit of a mess, any recommendations on best approach?

It depends on how you intend to use all the cables and what arrangements have already been made to get them to the location in which they will be used.
Some more information on how you intend to set things up and what devices you will be useing should help someone to make some suggestions.

I fitted an octo LNB to my satellite dish few years ago in order to provide each bedroom and the living room with two dedicated feeds,

I later added CAT7 yes cat7 capable of 10Gig per second not cat5 500mb network cables to each room for IPTV ended up creating an MDF panel inside the attic space with LAN routers for each bedroom which allows me to isolate a room from internet by unplugging the lan router,
I also terminated all satellite feeds at the panel in the attic using a schneiger electric six port plate and F-type connectors
I then routed feeds to each room,
I feel it was worth taking the time to do it right the first time now it's easy to add things without much effort and it's all centralised also minimized use of wifi signals.

Only thing I would change if doing it again would be to hinge the panel on to the wall where it's easier to access the rear without scoffing your hands off the block work, or fit some hydraulic arms like the boot door of a hatchback car

Octo LNB's are pretty old technology, at this stage.

Have you considered using a multiswitch, with a Unicable 2 LNB? Its a far more flexible and future-proof solution, and it simplifies the wiring, greatly.

I wouldnt suggest it under typical circumstances, but given all the work you have put in to date...

Thanks for that link and info I appreciate it as sky Q doesn't do octo LNB only up to a Quad; this unit also solves that limitation
