    Hi,

Need to get the rear trailing arm bushes replaced on a 2012 Mondeo.
What should I expect to pay for this job? I think the parts don't cost much, but there would be a good bit of labour involved?

I'd say a couple of hours labour plus parts. Depends on whether you need to replace the whole arm or just the bush. Best to get a mechanic to take a look and determine what's needed. A couple of hours labour at an indy would be around €120. Would be close to €200 from a main dealer.

The whole arm needs replacing. Main dealer is quoting me €400 for the job. Should I look elsewhere?

Surely you can replace the bushes inside the arm, press them out and press new ones in. Replacing the arm is probably easier and more profitable for them.

You are in the wrong place, of course they'll tell you that in the dealers..
    Go somewhere else, anywhere else.
Those bushes are a common replacement job at this stage, its no big deal at all.
Unless it's a swimmer with serious rust issues you'll need bushes only I would think.

You don't need to get that work done on a 7 year old car at a main dealer.
