Sky BBC4 HD

Can anyone confirm if they receive BBC4 HD on Sky channel 143? I get a satellite signal error and Sky rep on here just tell me BBC4HD doesn't exist any more...They installed a new dish lately so hence the query.

Trying to figure if a more of a dish alignment/skew issue for that transponder..FTA box shows no signal on 11023 H 23000 3/4...(think that the one BBC4 HD is on?)

You are thinking BBC3. I get both BBC4HD, and the standard transmission, both on Freesat, without paying any subscription.

Can't tell you were they appear on the Sky Box though OP.

BBC4HD on 11023 H 23000 3/4 correct?

As above, BBC3 is online only and BBC4 is on satellite. Usually doesn't start broadcasting until 7pm, so try again then.

BBC4HD on Freesat channel 107 is on the same 11023H transponder as in the first post, so it should be working fine later.

I had a quick check and BBC4 HD is on the same transponder as BBC News HD, so if you can get receive that, your dish setup is fine.

I'll double check the signal on 11023H. Think a few other channels on that transponder. Not missing any other channels on Sky (so Ill check the FTA box also). If any missing then I putting it down to Dish alignment or LNB skew. They may come out and re-adjust

I have both a SKy subscription and then a few other FTA boxes in the house running. Didn't know if BBC4HD on Sky was on same freq as the FTA.

I am a Sky Ireland subscriber and BBC4 HD is on 143.

Thanks - Sky tried to tell me it had been withdrawn even though I still get an EPG. Just the ammunition I needed :cool:
