Upgrading, my machine, vr and 3x1440p monitors

Gents looking for help upgrading, need gpu, cpu, motherboard and ram,
gaming build i run 3 27" 1440p monitors and will probably upgrade my vive aswell. whats the sweetspot right now between cost and performance, have a big budget to play with but dont wanna build a 4 grand monster thats overkill. main games right now are dcs, Eve and arma
Current system is an i7 4690k with a corsair water cooler, a 980ti hybrid gpu and 32gb of ram,
case is massive think its corsair but suitable for any build really,

The cooler should have a AM4 mounting bracket that came with it. Although AIO's are not well known for longevity.

Amd is doing better then ok, they are smashing Intel and outside of the price is not a concern crowd, Intel are failing to compete.

Your budget should be focused on the graphics card because your gaming at a resolution above 4k. You are graphics limited, you will always be graphics limited.

I doubt that AIO has an AM4 mounting bracket with it.

Good point regarding GPU bottleneck, Cuddlesworth.

Jiggle stuff around and you can get a 2080 Ti upgrade for under €1600.
Or even, just forget about the CPU/motherboard and only upgrade the graphics card.

Is it even worth upgrading the cpu in this case then? would i see any real gains with a new processor/mb or just upgrade gpu and wait until my 4790k is obsolete.
Im in the states at the minute so i want to most likely buy the gpu here. If i go full cpu/mb/ram i would go 2070 super, if i go gpu i will spunk on the 2080ti/super

Edit: current machine is 4 years old now i think, if I go with a new cpu/mb i will be going higher end for sure

With gaming split across the 3 displays, unless your streaming or something else in the background, doubt it will make a difference past 5%.

CPU's are scaling on cores, not speeds.
Games are still scaling on speed.
