I was in the pictures last night with my wife and I had to suffer the indignity of sitting next to this absolute monster pigging herself with popcorn and nachos.

I never understood this. Why do people feel the urge to gorge themselves like hedonists when they’re sitting down watching a film. This woman was enormously obese as well, and the smell from the nachos and cheese were turning my stomach. Slurping from a gallon cup of Coca Cola, she actually laughed so hard at one stage she burped. Disgusting. Grotesque.

I usually only drink a bottle of water in the cinema, or sometimes I cut little carrot sticks if I think I need a snack. What about the rest of you? I can’t imagine many users of this website make much of an effort of staving off hunger when they’re watching one of those three hour comic book films for children.

Before anyone makes some lame, easy quip saying my wife was the disgusting woman I sat next to, don’t bother.

Some people just go to the pictures for the food. They don’t care what’s on.

Funnily enough it is usually food you wouldn’t eat at home even if it was put in front of you.

But cinema food is horrendous, too. Bag of pop corn for a tenner :eek: and nachos with half liquid plastic 'cheese' from the microwave, It barely qualifies as food.
