It’s the older model if that bothers you. The a6 was refreshed last year.

That is mental money you are much better off with a 530E like this..

Seems very expensive to me for a car that the same dealer would no doubt tell you there is no market for it if you were looking to trade it.

The media in that car is very dated, for that reason alone I’d give it a miss.

Otherwise it’s a good car, for not much more you could buy the new model, head ton the UK and you’d pick one up for the same money.

That 530e in Sarsfield is really nice.

Thanks all for the response and feedback. I’m going to keep motoring with my own car for another while and keep away from dealerships in the meantime!

I've a lovely a6 S Line too pretty much like this one, but the new one is fantastic, so no way would I be buying a 2018 c7. Unless it was a bargain

Subjective but, IMHO the latest audi A6 is a serious interior improvement over that model. I think that BMW is also a phev, which might bring some fuel efficiency over the audi. Although I do think that interior wise a new A6 is much nicer than the BMW.

There are both in my house, both 2014 a 5 series and an a6 and the A6 is a nicer interior by far but the screen isn't as good. The models that replaced mine in 2017 and 2018, its the Audi by far that's the nicer interior. I do like the idea of a PHEV for my next car though

I think you either need to go phev or diesel. A straight petrol appears to be really gone out of fashion, so I'd worry about reselling it later.

I know at the minute a diesel would be most suitable as I do mainly motorway driving however, I expect this to change in the next few months or within the next year at which point a petrol would be more suitable. So logically, waiting makes the most sense.

I think at that time a phev would be a better option and range etc. will have improved on newer models by then.
