fixing a bike seat

    not strictly diy but any useful tips would be great, we have an exercise bike and we were trying to raise the saddle, it raises using a bar which we've lost. any idea what we could use instead, the bike stem has holes(looks like tin whistle)

    I would guess that there’s a threaded bolt that goes through the saddle and then through the post?
