Maple floor

    Hi guys, I recently sanded my floor and had to take up around 2sq that was badly warped. Can anyone tell me what I need to put down before I get it re- laid? It’s sitting on top of an existing floor but the sections I took up only have concrete below due to the floor underneath being badly warped. See pic.

    Also any idea on a price to lay 2sqm of solid maple floor ?

    You have to fix the leak first.

    That has underlay already.

    But if the underlay is wet make sure it's dried out first and no mould.


    It looks like you have semi solid floor. Providing you have the planks then your good to go. Nothing needed other than the underlay that's there

    If underlay is damaged then replace it with like for like.
