Thinking of getting this for the bedroom, impressed with whats on offer.

Anyone have one and would you recommend? Its a win win for straight fo the bat as I am a big Android TV OS fan.

I did. So far Ok. It can be wee bit sluggish. But I have had no problems side loading apps etc. Wondering about Android TV updates. Will we get them?

Having hooked up Saorview or Sat. Powercity said it pulls in duplicate channels so you have to manually delete and reorder them. They also said they have written to Saorview and TCL to try and get it 'Saorview' approved.

Apart from that, a 200 euro tv its not bad.

I'm not using this as a traditional TV

I wanted a 32 inch PC monitor and ended up buying this.
It works fine as a monitor

When running as an AndroidTV it can be a bit slow to boot but still does in an acceptable time
    Kids love it for Youtube

I've sideloaded a streaming app and an IPTV app with no issues.

    So far so good

Hi, any chance you might be able to help with sideloading issues I seem to be having?
I tried to sideload via USB and wifi, amazon prime, and it just doesnt seem to be taking

Bought a 40" one of these for my mother. One problem I have is that I can't control the volume on the sky remote. I can change the channels on it but have to use the tv remote to change the volume which is a pain in the arse for my mother. She's 90 and her eyesight is not great so she's missing the volume button and pressing all sorts!

I tried to program the sky remote but none of the codes worked.

    Anyone any ideas?

Ok so 6 months on I hoep to be returning this TV to Powercity. I've had a fair few problems with it and I know for 200 brick you have to manage your expectations.

Blacks on this is completely ****e.
Software OS takes an age to load.
Disney Plus app is not compatible.
Contacted Powercity, they where helpful told me to drop it in.
Contacted TCL UK and was told they do not officially sell their TV's in the Republic of Ireland offered no support.

So there you are folks. I say avoid buying this. Thrust me.

    32 inch

I never changed anything in settings for the picture so if you did then there's a reset option in there that might be worth a go to see if it changes the blacks at all

Cinema HD - for streaming stuff (including Netflix programs)
    Tivimate for an IPTV subscription
