Saddle Board is making a noise at one end of the board, like a creaking noise but not the other end was put in about 3 years ago

Do I need to take it up or can I solve it otherwise

Concrete floor- if there is a small gap you can shim it with a piece of thick card with a little dab of woodglue (pva) on it to keep it in place. If a timber floor, do the above but a mechanical fixing (nail/ screw) may also be required.

If there's any kind of gap you can squirt a bit of MS11 Clear (like Tec7 but cheaper) along the gap both sides and leave alone for a day or two. Just did it in a house I was tidying up. But you do need a little bit of a gap.
