The Motorsport Show, RDS - what exactly is this?

I'm hearing a lot of ads on the radio for this lately. I was intrigued but then I saw the prices! €55 is the starting price of a ticket with options up to €350!

The thing is, I have no idea what this show actually will exhibit. Looking at the "About" section of the website is totally uninformative and there don't appear to be any headline sponsors or attractions. I cant see any hookups with manufacturers or racing teams/series. The facebook, instagram and twitter pages are all exactly the same as each other with no comments of information. Just retweets of random car/motorsport news.

Is this legitimate at all or whats going on with it? Is Ja Rule involved here?

Looks like something that has not worked out. No detail whatsoever re what will be there. Just still looking for exhibitors etc.
    Cant see it happening.

Ripoff of the century. Even concessionary tickets are 35 euro but you also pay 4.40 for the pleasure of booking. 39.40 to see (at the moment) almost nothing.

I've been to a couple of similar shows in the past. By and large you pay a big entry fee, only to be bombarded by stalls trying to sell you tonnes of either A) Low quality rubbish or B) astronomically priced clothing and accessories.

Good luck trying to even sit in anything remotely decent.

You'd be better off going to the likes of the Paris Motor Show. €15 entry, and I got to sit in everything except a Maybach, and all OEM's trying to show off their latest tech.

Next one of note would be the Geneva Motor Show. https://www.gims.swiss/

Probably someone looking to set up a pound-shop version of the Autosport International show held in the NEC

Agree, 5 halls in NEC for a cheaper price. What planet are they on.
