I'll jump in here if I may. Do the raceblades come in sizes suitable for 700x40?

    Hi

Raceblades are really only suitable for tyres up to 25mm and wont fit on the Roubaix as there is no seatstay bridge or mudguard eyelets on the frame.
You should have a look at the Crud Roadracer MK3 mudguards. They suit tyres up to 35mm and shoulf fit the roubaix no problem. Easy to fit and remove.

Thanks for the replies. I'll look into those two.

Have you ever used Raceblades? I use them with 28s, no problem and why would you need a seatstay bridge or mudguard eyelets?

Precisely, they strap onto the seatstay, do fit a Roubaix and AFAIK a friend uses them on 32mm GP5000s.

I’ve Crud MK3’s on my winter bike. They’re excellent and can be taken off or refitted in minutes.
