Dividend Stocks 2019

Creating a portfolio for my father who turns 60 next year, I want to create a large cap portfolio with dividend paying stocks.

What are people's favourite dividend stocks?

I'd prefer to have stocks that pay a 2-3% yield than someone who pays 5%+ as that seems unsustainable.

    My current list would be:

    McDonalds
    Coca-Cola
    Pepsi
    Unilever
    Nestle
    Roche
    P&G
    BBGI
    HICL
    3i
    UNH
    MSFT
    Realty Income Corporation
    Texas Instruments
    NextEra Energy
    J&J

    On the sidelines:
    Visa
    Mastercard
    Nike
    Boeing

    BAE
    Unibail Rodamco
    SSE
    Caterpillar
    Intel
    Qualcomm
    Reckitt Benckiser
    Cardinal Health

Haven't fully looked into them just off the top of my head.

I'd be very interested in opinions on best dividends from Irish public companies. (My job has me restricted trading US stocks)

How can your job prevent you trading US stocks?

What about a UK property REIT? They have to pay dividends but then you also have that B word coming in few weeks.

It is not unusual, I like the many others including the chairman of the federal reserver was restricted to bonds because of my job.
