Anybody know what the story is with cidre. Every supermarket in the west seems to be stopping selling it and whereas it used to be on sale at every racecourse it now looks to have vanished. Are they pulling out of the Irish market?

C&C is the distributor. Maybe they don't want it competing with Bulmers.

Makes sense. It tastes exactly the same as Bulmers/Magners.

Maybe its a seasonal thing, I see this quite a bit in the bargain alerts forum, people going on about cider as if there was some law stopping you drinking it in cold weather!

Yep back in stock in my local Tesco too. Seems c & c have finally started distributing it again...

Very different to Bulmers. Bulmers is watered down horse piss. Stella cidre is actually quite pleasant.
