M3 Clonee-M50: Tender issued for construction of upgraded Snugborough Interchange
N3 Virginia bypass: Consultants appointed for Phases 1-4
M4 Maynooth-Leixlip: Consultants tendered for Phases 1-4; to be appointed shortly
N4 Carrick-on-Shannon to Dromod: Tender issued for consultants for Phases 1-4
N4 Mullingar-Longford (Rooskey): Tender issued for consultants for Phases 1-4
N5 Ballaghaderreen-Scramoge: Advance works ongoing at pace, detailed topographical surveys to commence shortly
M6 Galway City Ring Road: Additional information requested by An Bord Pleanala submitted and published to the public. Oral Hearing expected within 6 months.
M7 Naas/Newbridge bypass upgrade: Three lanes now operational between J8 and J11 with minor works still to be completed on the mainline. Work continues at the two junctions being built on the route.
N8/N25/N40 Dunkettle Interchange: Retenderd following failure to agree price for Phase 2 with Sisk. Full construction to begin in 2020 after project was retendered. Advance works, utility diversions and the construction of a freeflow link between the N8 Tivoli DC outbound with the M8 Dublin Road will be completed in the meantime.
N11/N25 Oilgate-Rosslare: Project Phase 1 now underway. Route to be finalised in 2020 with submission to An Bord Pleanala in late 2022.
M11 Gorey-Enniscorthy: This project is now open to traffic
N13/N56 Letterkenny Relief Road + upgrades: Preferred route to be published in Q4 2019. Ground investigations to start in Q4 2019.
N14 Letterkenny-Lifford: Preferred route to be published in Q4 2019. Ground investigations to start in Q4 2019.
N15 Ballybofey/Stranorlar bypasss: Preferred route to be published in Q4 2019. Ground investigations to start in Q4 2019.
N17 Knock-Collooney: Route/options selection now underway with traffic counts and data being sought by Sligo County Council.
M20 Cork-Limerick: Traffic surveys to begin shortly
M21 Limerick-Foynes: Project to be fast tracked now due to Ryder Cup in 2026. Project to be submitted to An Bord Pleanala in October 2019.
N21 Newcastlewest bypass: Traffic surveys to begin shortly
N21 Abbeyfeale bypass: Traffic surveys to begin shortly
N25 Carrigtwohill-Midleton: Consultants tendered for Phases 1-4
N25 Waterford-Glenmore: Consultants appointed for Phases 1-4
N52 Ardee bypass: Due to issues regarding intersections with local roads along the route, the project has now been deferred for a design review and a tender is expected in Q4 2020.
N52 Tullamore-Kilbeggan: Project tendered for Phases 1-4
N56 Dungloe-Glenties: Phase 4 (Dungloe-Cloghbolie, 7.1km) has been tendered, with the final Phase (Letterilly-Kilraine, 7.5km) to be tendered in Q1 2020.
N56 Mountcharles-Inver: Construction started on the second and final phase between Drumbeigh and Inver in August.
N69 Listowel bypass: PIN for tender published in August. Full tender in Q4 2019 with project to commence in March 2020.
N72 Mallow relief road: Tenders published for Phases 1-4. Route selection to be complete by Q4 2020 and to be with An Bord Pleanala by April 2022.
