    Why do you not notify customers of planned works that will disrupt supply and then why do you change the time its due back last minute?

    Hi will3001,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    As soon as we receive any notice of works, we update our website and tweet it from our desginated channel. If you are experiencing a disruption prior to planned works taking place, there may be a separate unplanned incident that has caused this disruption.

    If you are without supply, please confirm the following details by private message and we can follow up?

    - Your full name;
    - Full address;
    - Contact number;
    - If your cold kitchen tap and neighbours supply is afected; and
    - If this is an apartment or a house.

    Thanks,
    Mairead

    This really isn't acceptable, planned disruption should be notified to customers. ESB can do it so why cant IW. Still no water despite the website saying it was fixed at 8:30am

    I've sent a PM with details

    Regards
    Liam

    As soon as we get notice of planned works, we update our website, tweet notice and inform vulnerable customers directly through our vulnerable customer process.

    A member of our team will be in touch via PM shortly.

    Kind regards,
    Mairead

    I shouldn't have to check a website to know my water will be turned off...
