Mercedes LED emblem on front grille

Seen this on a merc recently and thought I might treat myself as they look pretty cool. I read that the oem product is quite expensive so looking at a spurious make on amazon for a fraction of the price.

Before I order it though I wondered are they illegal? I can’t imagine they’re a danger but you never know!

Anyone who puts a lighty-up Merc emblem on their car should be sent to a gulag.

Fully road legal once not anything other then white on the front and red on the rear.
Orange on side.

Same thing with trucks etc which you use to see lit up like mad, I liked it but obviously they cracked down on this so that's why you will rarely see a colour and mostly just white or orange lighting at the front.

I sometimes see a SsangYong on the N7 with a light up rear badge.
I'm actually embarrassed for the driver.
Imagine buying a SsangYong and then trying to draw attention to the fact..........

You'd surely need at least a degree in automotive systems engineering to specify fit and test one of these. #lolz
