Painting a Radiator Cabinet

I have one of those radiator cabinets like you get in Woidies/B+Q, it was pre finished.

Now it's gone yellowish and I'm wondering if I can paint it.?

It also has one of those parts in it that has bits stamped out of it (if that makes sense) what could I do with that bit.?

Is it better just to replace.

Use a foam roller and get a small tin of diamond coat of white .

A brush would just leave excess paint in the pattern bit you mention.

Dont put loads of paint on the roller and lightly roll twice.

    Job done .

Thanks, but the finish is shiny white (ore finish)

Do I paint over that with a diamond Matt?)

If you like the shiny look get diamond satin, but if you want the flat non shiny look get Matt.

Before you paint it lightly sand it with a pad like a pot/pan scrubber, wherever you get the paint will have them, then wipe down with wet wipes before you paint.

Ok, this is going to be good...but sure if it comes out crap, I'll have to replace it anyway!!

    Appreciate the advice.
